Our Water Treatment Services
01.
Surface water Treatment for Drinking Water
The surface water needs to be treating before it has the required water quality. Surface water typically contains high suspended solids content, bacteria, algae, organic matter, which are create bad taste and odor
02.
Industrial Wastewater Treatment plants
Biologically polluted wastewater after the treatment process can use it in an industrial operating unit, and it is mainly suitable for agricultural, food, and similar industries in factories
03.
Intermittent Flow System (SBR)
That is a non-continuous operation technology that has been of interest in recent years with the development of microprocessor control devices. Compared with continuous cross-flow treatment plants, these water treatment plants do not have a final sedimentation tank.
Surface water Treatment for Drinking Water
Availability of safe drinking water is the essential basis of life for all people worldwide. Therefore, Al-Fajr is continuously developing its products to serve the need for economic potable water treatment plants. Furthermore, we specialize in realizing upgrade and rehabilitation works of existing plants within a tight schedule and challenging local site conditions.
Due to the high cost of drinking water and the fact that water is not always available, more and more industries and municipalities use treated surface water. The surface water needs to be treating before it has the required water quality. Surface water typically contains high suspended solids content, bacteria, algae, organic matter, which are create bad taste and odor. In some areas like a river, estuaries surface water can be brackish water and reaching up to 8000 mg/L of salts.
Commonly used two processes are used to treat surface water:
– Conventional treatment including clarification (coagulation/flocculation, sedimentation or dissolved air flotation), sand filtration, activated carbon
adsorption, and disinfection.
– Advanced treatment based on ultrafiltration technology.
Advantages for Surface water Treatment
• Easy to abstract water by direct pumping
• Water can be treated after use and put back into a river
• Reservoirs can be used for recreation
• treats the cause of groundwater problems, rather then the problem
• cost of construction is relatively lower
• surface run-off water is usually of good quality and can be stored in farm
dams or directed into natural watercourses
• water erosion and groundwater recharge are reduced
• peak stream flow in creeks is reduced, reducing flooding, channel erosion and sedimentation
• maintenance needs are low
• notification of surface water earthworks is not required under the Soil
and Land Conservation Act (but subsurface drainage may be).
Industrial Wastewater Treatment plants
Biologically polluted wastewater after treatment process can use it in an industrial operating unit, and it is mainly suitable for agricultural, food, and
similar industries in factories such as:
• Meat processing plants
• Slaughterhouses
• Dairy trade
• Poultry Farms
• Soft drinks and mineral water factories
• Fish processing Factory
• Etc …
Intermittent Flow System (SBR)
- That is a non-continuous operation technology that has been of interest in recent years with the development of microprocessor control devices. Compared with continuous cross-flow treatment plants, these water treatment plants do not have a final sedimentation tank.
The wastewater treatment process takes place in one tank due to intermittent operation. The total cleaning cycle is divide into several stages:- Filling,
- Activation,
- Sedimentation,
- Casting (discharging).
Individual stages can be modified and set in a way. It is better to adopt the flowing wastewater treatment plant.
